Prize Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter
The promoter is PROJECTX COMPETITIONS LTD, Company Number 16472053, incorporated in England and Wales, with its registered office at 562 Greenford Road, Greenford, England, UB6 8QU.

2. The competition
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at projectxcompetitions.eu (the “Website”).
The Promoter may offer different formats of competition. Subject to clause 2.3, an entry fee is payable each time you enter.
To be in with a chance of winning, everyone who enters a competition (an “Entrant”) will be required to correctly answer a question or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”). Where the Promoter offers an easy or multiple-choice question, or does not ask a Competition Question, a free entry route is available under clause 3.11.
3. How to enter
The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These are the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date”. All times and dates are London, England time.
If it is absolutely necessary to do so for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may change the Opening Date and/or Closing Date. Any new details will be displayed on the Website. The Promoter will not extend a Closing Date simply to sell more entries.
All entries must be received by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. Entries received after that time are automatically disqualified and no refunds will be given.
If there is a maximum number of entries, this will be stated on the Website. The number of entries you can make may be limited if that maximum is reached.
Entrants may enter as many times as they wish until the maximum number of entries or any maximum per Entrant is reached. Each free entry must be submitted separately. Bulk entries will not be accepted as multiple entries and will be counted as one single entry.
All Entrants, including those entering for free, must open an account on the Website before entering. Only one account per person is permitted. If an Entrant opens or attempts to open multiple accounts using different email addresses, all accounts may be closed and the Entrant may be prevented from entering future competitions.
Once an account has been opened, to enter a competition you must view the Competition Question, if there is one; complete and submit the online entry form; purchase the required number of entries; and submit your answer to the Competition Question, if there is one.
All entries must be submitted in English. Entries in other languages will automatically be disqualified and no refund will be given.
The Promoter will send confirmation that an online entry has been received. The Promoter does not have to acknowledge receipt of a free entry or confirm whether its answer is correct.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed, lost or delayed regardless of cause, including equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, hardware or software failure.
By purchasing entries and submitting a competition entry, you enter into a contract with the Promoter and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You may enter a competition for free by complying with all of the following conditions:
- send your entry by first or second class post to PROJECTX COMPETITIONS LTD, 562 Greenford Road, Greenford, England, UB6 8QU;
- hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the draw;
- include the name or details of the competition, your full name, your address, a contact telephone number and email address, and your answer to the Competition Question (if there is one);
- incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
- submit and post each free entry separately. Bulk entries in one envelope will count as one entry;
- ensure the entry is received before the Closing Date. Proof of posting does not guarantee entry;
- use the correct postage. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or insufficiently stamped; and
- understand that if an entry cap is reached before the free entry is received, the free entry will not be entered.
4. Choosing a winner
Main draw: all Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question will be placed into a random draw and a winner selected. If no Competition Question is asked, all valid Entrants will be placed into the random draw. The draw will take place as soon as reasonably possible and within seven days of the Closing Date (the “Draw Date”).
Instant wins: the Website will explain the allocation method. Valid paid and free entries meeting the entry requirements participate on the same basis, and an entry wins only if it matches the published instant-win mechanism.
Auto draws: where the Website says an auto-draw system is used, it may select a winner from all valid entries when the Closing Date is reached or all entries have been sold, whichever is sooner.
Entrants may have their first name and entry number included on a spreadsheet that may be published on the Website or visible during a live draw. If you do not want your first name included, email info@projectxcompetitions.eu as soon as reasonably possible and at least 48 hours before the live draw.

5. Eligibility
The competition is open only to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter; employees of agents or suppliers professionally connected with the competition or its administration; and members of the immediate families or households of those people.
By entering, you confirm that you are eligible to enter and claim any prize. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility. Failure to provide it within a reasonable time may result in disqualification.
The Promoter will not accept entries that are automatically generated by computer or incomplete.
The Promoter may disqualify an Entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition, including rude or abusive conduct towards the Promoter or anyone associated with it.
Subject to clause 11.3, no refunds of the entry fee will be given if you later discover that you are not eligible, if eligibility criteria change and you are no longer eligible, or if you are disqualified.
If an Entrant engages in fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or concealment, hacking or interference with the Website, or unauthorised amendment or use of Website code, all their entries may be declared void, no refund will be given and they may be prevented from entering future competitions.
6. The prize
The prize for each competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge and belief, correct at the Opening Date.
If the Prize is a vehicle:
- the Promoter will, unless otherwise stated, ensure it has a valid MOT if required;
- no insurance is included and the Winner must insure it before using it on public roads;
- after delivery, the Winner is responsible for the vehicle and for complying with all laws and operating it safely;
- vehicle and road tax are not included;
- the Winner must hold all licences, qualifications, knowledge and experience needed to operate it legally; and
- the Winner must provide and use all necessary safety equipment and clothing.
Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter may substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value and will update the Website where details change.
The Promoter makes no representations or warranties about the Prize, its value, condition or other Website information beyond taking reasonable steps to award it as described.
The Promoter may offer an alternative cash prize where the competition page says so. It may substitute a cash prize if the Prize becomes unavailable or circumstances outside its reasonable control make that necessary.
The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
7. Winners
The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
The Promoter will contact the Winner as soon as practicable after the Draw Date using the telephone number or email provided. If the Winner cannot be contacted or has not claimed the Prize within 14 days of the Draw Date, the Promoter may offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date.
The Promoter will publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. This may include the Winner’s surname, county and winning entry number on the Website or by request to the correspondence address. If you object, email info@projectxcompetitions.eu before the Closing Date. The Promoter may still provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority when legally required.
8. Claiming the prize
You must claim the Prize personally. Details of delivery or collection are published on the Website.
If your personal or contact details change, notify info@projectxcompetitions.eu as soon as reasonably possible, including the competition and old and new details. If details change within five days of the Closing Date, the Promoter may use the old details when trying to contact you.
Any cash Prize will be transferred to the Winner’s nominated bank account. The Winner must provide evidence that they are the sole or joint beneficiary of the account. Failure to do so within 14 days may result in disqualification and the Prize being offered to the next eligible Entrant.
The Promoter is not responsible or liable to pay compensation if a Winner cannot or does not take up the Prize.
The Promoter may decline to award a Prize that is not claimed in accordance with these terms and conditions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate a Winner for loss, damage, personal injury or death arising from taking up the Prize, except where caused by their negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Data protection and publicity
Personal information provided with an entry may be held and used by the Promoter, its agents and suppliers to administer the competition or as explained in the Privacy Policy.
If you win, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the Winner and that you will participate in reasonable publicity. You may object before the Closing Date without affecting your chance of winning, although information may still be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority when required.
A Winner may be required to provide further personal information and proof of identity to confirm eligibility and transfer the Prize. Requesting deletion of data before fulfilment withdraws you from the competition and may result in forfeiture of the Prize without refund.
If you do not want your details used for promotional purposes, email info@projectxcompetitions.eu before the Closing Date.
11. General
The Promoter may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on the Website.
If there is reason to believe these terms have been breached, the Promoter may exclude an Entrant from the competition and future competitions.
The Promoter may void, suspend, cancel or amend a competition where necessary. There is no minimum number of entries and a lack of entries will not by itself be a reason to void or cancel it. If the Promoter does void or cancel a competition, Entrants will be offered a full refund of entry fees paid to that competition.
The competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. Facebook has no liability and is not responsible for their administration or promotion.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
You should print or save a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.
